Stainless Steel Safety Latch
Your gear box has a job to do, and that job includes keeping the lid where it belongs.
These stainless steel safety latches are the same standard latches we use on our production boxes. They feature a built-in safety catch that helps prevent accidental lid openings when your box gets bumped, bounced, rattled, or otherwise reminded that life on the river isn’t a spa day.
The safety catch uses a small release lever that you push up to open the latch. That extra step helps keep your lid securely closed when you don’t want it making an unexpected escape.
Each latch comes as a complete kit with the latch, strike, and rivets. Everything you need for installation is included.
Well, almost everything.
You’ll need to provide the rivet gun. We figured you probably have one of those lying around.
